PT Bali Turtle Island Development (PT BTID) will soon begin to develop “Kura Kura Bali”, an integrated world-class tourism zone on the island of Serangan, Bali. ‘Kura Kura’ is Indonesian for “Turtle” as the island has been home to turtles nesting. PT BTID will act as the master developer responsible for preparing a master plan and managing the development’s infrastucture. Tourism facility development will be carried out by investors and an appointed developer overseen by PT BTID.
PT BTID has set a vision for the overall development of Turtle Island Tourism Zone and drawn up general directions of the development, including spatial planning, transportation specifications, infrastucture development, assignment of open green spaces, visual design and a sustainable development strategy. In designing the development’s master plan, PT BTID takes into account the importance of constant monitoring of Turtle Island’s specific conditions to ensure an informed and updated development process befitting of a world-class project.
